Within this network, we align and develop a shared vision and policies regarding scientific research in general practice, as well as the necessary conditions to support it. We also identify opportunities and challenges, working together to seize or address these as needed.

The General Practice Research Consortium is one of the initiatives born out of UNH-Research activities.

With support from UNH-Research, the NHG established a National General Practice Research Agenda in 2018. This agenda provides direction for researchers, funding bodies, policymakers, and patient organizations involved in general practice research. An updated agenda is expected in 2024.

Generating new scientific knowledge to advance general practice is essential to sustaining and further developing the field. Coordination and collaboration among the university departments make this work more promising, robust, and effective.
