UNH-Training is part of the Hoofdenoverleg Huisartsopleidingen (Meeting of Heads of General Practice Training Programs) and collaborates closely with the department heads, who together form the Raad van Eigenaren van Huisartsopleiding Nederland (Board of Owners of General Practice Training Netherlands).

Huisartsopleiding Nederland (General Practice Training Netherlands) serves as the operational body for this partnership, where important decisions related to GP training are jointly made.

The aim of UNH-Training is to establish unified agreements across the eight national GP training programs regarding selection, placement, thematic and scientific education, assessment, and evaluation standards for GP trainees.
