In 1981, an IOH working group on evaluation research was established. The aim was to clarify the concepts of “assessment” and “evaluation research”, and to map out the ongoing projects at the university general practice institutes. In a report from the IOH, written for the Adviescommissie Opleidingen Geneeskundigen (Advisory Committee on Medical Training), the professors of General Practice outline the shortcomings in the current basic curriculum. The IOH believed that general practice should remain part of the core curriculum at all faculties. Agreement on the important role of GP supervisors<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

The LHV, NHG, InEen, and UNH agree on the significant role of the GP supervisor<\/u><\/a>. GP supervisors enhance the quality of general practice care. Their training equips them to uphold and develop the core tasks and values of Dutch general practice. Nota OH over basisopleiding<\/h5>\n

In een nota van het Interfacultair Overleg Huisartsgeneeskunde over de
\nbasisopleiding, geschreven voor de Adviescommissie Opleidingen
\nGeneeskundigen, verwoorden de hoogleraren Huisartsgeneeskunde de
\ntekortkomingen in de huidige basisopleiding.
\n“Zij vinden dat de wetenschappelijke vorming, mede in het belang van de
\ncontinue nascholing, onvoldoende is. Basisartsen hebben te weinig kennis var
\nveel voorkomende zaken in de geneeskunde, hun algemeen medische en
\nsociale vaardigheden als hulpverlener laten te wensen over en zii missen de
\nvereiste attitude en persoonlikheidsontwikkeling. Deze bevindingen worden
\nbevestigd door en onderzoek onder afgestudeerde geneeskundigen aan de VU<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

De acht universitaire Huisartsinstituten verenigen zich, in navolging van het
\n10G, in het Interfacultair Overleg Huisartsgeneeskunde (I0H). De hoogleraren
\nvergaderen geregeld en mengen zich van tijd tot tijd in de landelike discussies<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

In september 1974 schriven de hoofden van de Universitaire Huisartsinstituten
\n(de hoogleraren en lectoren Van Aalderen, Bremer, Brouwer, Van Deen, Dokter,
\nDijkhuis, van Es, Huygen, Polak en Van Trommel) een brief aan de ministers en
\nstaatssecretarissen van 08W en VoMil waarin ze en lans breken voor
\nmultidisciplinaire samenwerking. De huisarts heeft een integrale taak. Hij biedt
\nnet alleen hulp bij lichameliike ziekten, maar moet ook mensen met klachten
\nverder helpen as er geen somatische afwijkingen zijn gevonden. De praktijken
\nzijn nu zo groot dat daar nauwelilks tijd voor is. Multidisciplinair teamwork is
\ndaarom nodig. Hiermee wordt de druk op de rest van de gezondheidszorg

Beperking studieduur<\/h5>\n

Het onderwijsbeleivdo orh et hogero nderwijsi n de jaren zestig en zeventig is
\nerop gericht dat meer mensen an het onderwis deelnemen en dat wordt ook
\ngerealiseerd! Daardoors tijgend e overheidsuitgavena anzienlik. Om de kosten
\nte drukken komen er plannen voor en verkorting van de studieduur. Posthumus
